Acupuncture Treatment for Chronic Tension Headaches

Chronic muscle tension headaches are an extremely common condition treated in our Beaverton clinic, but both our chiropractors, massage therapists, and our acupuncturist. Today I'd like to share a short video of how acupuncture can be used to effectively treat headaches. In the video, licensed acupuncturist, Ryan Love, demonstrates techniques used in the office, and some of the immediate effects of needle stimulation to tight muscles. Watch closely when the needles are inserted into the upper trap muscles and you will see a brief twitch, known as a fasciculation. 

If you are suffering from chronic tension headaches, we highly recommend adding acupuncture as a treatment option.

Back In Motion Chiropractic in Beaverton Teams With XTERRA Portland

We are extremely excited to announce that Back In Motion Chiropractic & Sports Rehab in Beaverton is teaming with XTERRA to support the 2018 XTERRA Portland event at Henry Hagg Lake on Saturday, August 4th!! The chiropractic team from our Beaverton clinic will provide pre and post-race chiropractic and soft-tissue care to the athletes competing in the off road triathlon. The event will consist of 3 races - full off-road triathlon (1,000 meter swim, 25K mountain bike, 5 mile trail run), off-road duathlon (2.5 mile run, 25K mountain bike, 5 mile trail run), and the Xticer race for beginners (200 meter swim, 5 mile mountain bike, 2 mile trail run). This is sure to be an incredible event, and has something for everyone, from professional to beginner.

Sever's Disease Kinesio Taping
